Dr. Faizullah Syed was from a proud family in the SWAT Valley in Pakistan. He was so talented and smart and finished top honors at Pakistan medical school. Dr Syed came to the Alabama area around 2004 and fell in love with the Shoals area.

Although he is gone, his legacy will never be forgotten. It is because of his commitment to the Shoals area, medicine and continuing education that the Faizullah Syed Scholarship foundation would like to award scholarships to local high school seniors in his name. This great family man, friend, and physician will never be forgotten due to his hospitality, larger than life personality and serving nature. This new scholarship will help preserve his impact on the Shoals and beyond.
